The reality of producing Native Horse & Mustangs & Renegades has had a huge personal cost to Producer/Director/Cinematographer/Writer James Anaquad Kleinert. We were able to complete Native Horse from the support that came in from Vision Maker Media and a few other donors who we greatly thank. However the majority of the production was financed by James who currently has a large amount of outstanding debt from investing every penny he had and borrowing from others. To date Director Kleinert has not received a penny from PBS for Native Horse. The current National airing of Native Horse on PBS has been a Give Away. We are hoping to recoup some costs on international distribution of Native Horse but that is purely speculation.

you will see the chaos that director Kleinert had to wade through to get the film made, particularly being targeted by the Deep State which is very well exposed in the film. In 2015 Kleinert won a Land Mark Freedom of Information Act case against the Bureau of Land Management. Kleinert v. Bureau of Land Management, exposed the vast amount of surveillance he was under since 2007 as he exposed the brutal crimes being committed against America's Wild Horses & Public Lands. Federal Judge John D. Bates (who sits on the FISA court) in April 2016 released his decision that Kleinert v. BLM set important precedent for future cases involving public records and legal proceedings with the Bureau of Land Management. Westlaw published the case (2015 WL 5675792) based on its importance in establishing legal precedent. Because Mustangs & Renegades exposes so much corruption within our government the film never had a chance to get picked up by main stream media which is simply a tool of the corporate/government state. Mustangs & Renegades is a give away helping to educate and inform the public on the crimes being committed on our public lands and to our Sacred Wild Horses & Burros!
In addition Director Kleinert has been pursuing yet another Freedom of Information Act investigation regarding suspicious activities by the Department of the Interior and their Management for Extinction policy of our Wild Horses. This investigation has been ongoing for over two years now in which James has been the Prevailing party in the FOIA case: 1278 (950/FOIA) Civil Action No. 24-0934. However we need to file yet another round of FOIA requests in this investigation which is very time consuming. But we are getting results.
Wildlife Biologist Craig Downer and James are currently working to draft the legislation to get America’s Wild Horses & Burros on the Endangered Species list. Downer and Kleinert need financial resources to carve out time so they can devote attention and resources to this important endeavor. We are making progress but need support!
